  I have been taking my dog Teddy to Hamish for about 4 years. The service is always outstanding and the nurses are so friendly and caring. Teddy loves going to the vet, as they always fuss over him and make him feel at home. What more could a dog owner want. Thanks Blakehurst Vet.

  Dr Hamish Bathgate is a wonderful vet. 4 years ago he saved my beautiful dog Niki when she had an Addisonian crisis. Addison’s disease is very difficult to diagnose and I am most grateful that Hamish had the expertise to solve her illness before it was too late.

  I have entrusted the care of my pets to Dr. Hamish and the staff st Blakehurst Vet for the last 12 years. In that time we have known Hamish to always provide our pets, whether it be our guinea pigs or beloved dog Henry, with expert veterinary care and attention. They have always made time for appointments even at short notice and they have provided follow up care after treatment plans were put in place.
